Geox kids shoes are “the shoe that breathes”

The Geox thermoregulation. Sweat allows our body to thermoregulate: as it evaporates we cool down. One of the areas of the body with the greatest concentration of sudoriferous glands is the foot sole, which has to bear our weight and the effects of our movement.

The problem Our feet produce up to 100 litres of sweat a year! Rubber soles cause condensation on the sole of the foot giving you that classic feeling of wet feet. Rubber soles create a plastic-bag effect around the foot.

The Geox solution The perforated rubber sole contains a special microporous membrane that absorbs and expels sweat without letting water in. The membrane's micropores are smaller than the water drops, which therefore can't pass through the membrane, but they are larger than the water vapour molecules. Sweat, in form of water vapour, can pass through the membrane and out through the perforated sole. The themrmographic test shows that the foot wearing a shoe with a conventional rubber sole is much more overheated (reddended) than the foot wearing Geox.
